ALBANY, Ga. (Oct. 2, 2025) Big Dan’s Car Wash has made a $5,000 investment into helping improve the lives of hundreds of children and teens in Southwest Georgia.
In October, Big Dan’s presented a check to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany as part of our commitment to giving back to the communities that have welcomed our growing company and employees.
Big Dan’s is passionate about the work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany as well as supporting the success of our next generation and our country.
“We are about more than just cleaning cars. We truly want to make a difference,” says Jarrett Shadday, chairman and principal owner of Big Dan’s Car Wash. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany has been doing just that for six decades. Last year, more than 2,300 boys and girls aged 6 through 18 were provided a safe, fun after- school experience where they continued to learn, grow and thrive.
Big Dan’s Car Wash joined the community in March 2024 with the opening of its express wash at 375 N. Slappey Blvd. In addition to the seven-digit investment and creating jobs, Big Dan’s continues to contribute to helping make Albany an even brighter place to live and work.
